FutureMinds AI Academy ("FutureMinds AI Academy", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and the privacy of the children in our programs. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect, why, how it's used, what actually happens to data during a live class, and what rights you have as a parent or guardian.
This policy covers our advertisements, lead forms, website, registration process, WhatsApp communication, live classes, and payment collection.

1. Information We Collect
We collect two broad categories of information: what you give us directly, and what's generated as your child moves through the program.
1.1 Information you provide
When you register interest, enroll, or contact us, we may collect:
- Parent/guardian name, email address, and phone number
- Child's first name and current grade (used only to place them in the right stage — Explorers, Builders, or Innovators)
- Information about your interest in our programs
- Other information you choose to share with us
Some information may be automatically populated by Meta/Facebook when you submit a lead form.
1.2 Information generated during enrollment
Once enrolled, we also keep basic records needed to actually run the program:
- Which level and sessions your child has attended
- Certificates issued upon completing a level
- Payment records (see Section 4 — we do not store your card or bank account numbers)
We do not record live sessions. Any photo or video use in our marketing is a separate, optional opt-in that you control, and is off by default — see Section 13.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Contact you regarding FutureMinds AI Academy programs
- Provide information about schedules, fees, and enrollment
- Answer your questions and requests
- Place your child in the right stage and level
- Process registrations and issue certificates
- Send relevant updates about your child's program
- Improve our programs, services, and communications
3. What Happens During a Live Class
Since our program is specifically about AI literacy, we want to be direct about exactly how AI tools and technology are actually used in a session — not just how we handle your contact details.
3.1 Video platform
Classes run over Google Meet. Sessions are not recorded, by us or through the platform. We don't require your child to create a personal Google account — the class is joined via a link.
3.2 AI tools used in class
Your child never creates an account with, or logs directly into, any AI tool used during sessions. All AI tool use runs through the facilitator's own account, under live supervision — your child is never asked to enter their name, school, address, or photo into any AI system.
3.3 WhatsApp communication
We use WhatsApp Business to communicate with parents — including automated greeting messages when you first message us, and session reminders. This runs on Meta's WhatsApp Business platform; see Section 5 for how Meta may process this data.
3.4 Your child's work
Drawings, written reflections, code, and projects your child creates during class stay with the facilitator only for the purposes of running that level and are not shared outside the program, except where you've separately opted in to marketing use (see Section 13).
4. Payment Information
Payments are currently collected via direct UPI transfer. We do not store your card number, bank account number, or UPI PIN — these never pass through us; they're handled entirely within your own banking app. We keep a record of the payment amount and date for our own accounting and to confirm your enrollment, nothing more.
If we introduce a payment gateway or processor in the future, this policy will be updated to name that provider and explain what they collect.
5. Communication
By submitting your information, you agree that FutureMinds AI Academy may contact you using the contact details you provide, regarding our programs and your child's enrollment.
This may include communication by phone call, WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
You may request that we stop sending promotional or non-essential communications at any time — see Section 10.
6. Sharing of Information & Third-Party Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use a small number of third-party services to actually run the program, listed here for transparency:
| Service | What it's used for |
|---|---|
| Meta (WhatsApp Business, Facebook/Instagram) | Parent communication, lead forms, advertising |
| Google (Forms, Meet, Fonts) | Registration forms, live classes, website typography |
| Netlify | Website hosting |
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms in addition to this policy. Where appropriate, we expect any service provider we use to handle information in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.
7. Meta/Facebook Lead Forms
If you submit your information through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta may also process your information in accordance with Meta's applicable policies and terms.
Meta may prefill certain information in the lead form based on information associated with your Meta account.
8. Cookies & Website Data
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and does not currently use tracking cookies or analytics pixels. If we add analytics or advertising pixels (for example, to measure ad performance) in the future, this section will be updated to name that tool before it goes live.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information provided to us against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary:
- Enquiry information, if you don't enroll, is kept only while we're actively following up, and deleted on request
- Enrollment and attendance records are kept for the duration of your child's time in the program, plus a reasonable period after for certificate verification
- Payment records are kept as long as required for our own accounting obligations
11. Your Choices and Rights
As the parent or guardian, you may contact us to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you or your child
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, where applicable
- Withdraw consent for future communications
- Ask questions about how your information is being used
Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, legal, or regulatory purposes.
12. Children's Information & Parental Consent
Our programs are built for children, but our relationship — for privacy purposes — is with you, the parent or guardian. We rely on your consent, given on your child's behalf, as the basis for enrolling and communicating about their progress.
- We do not intentionally collect personal information directly from children through our advertising or lead forms
- Parents or legal guardians provide information on behalf of their child
- We do not run behavioral advertising targeted at children, and we do not market directly to children
Your child never creates an account with, or logs directly into, any AI tool used during sessions. All AI tool use during class runs through the facilitator's own account, under live supervision — your child is never asked to enter their name, school, address, or photo into any AI system.
This policy is written with the intent of aligning with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, particularly its provisions on children's data. We are not a law firm, and this document has not yet been reviewed by one — if you have specific legal concerns, we'd encourage you to raise them with us directly.
13. Photos & Video Consent
We may occasionally want to use a photo or short clip of a Show & Tell moment, a certificate presentation, or a project for marketing — on our website, social media, or in ads.
- This is always a separate, explicit opt-in — off by default
- We will ask you directly, by name, before using anything featuring your child
- You can withdraw this consent at any time, and we will stop using that material going forward
- Declining has no effect on your child's place in the program
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or applicable requirements.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
15. Governing Law
This policy is intended to operate under the laws of India. We are not a law firm, and nothing in this document should be read as formal legal advice — if you have specific legal or regulatory questions about how we handle data, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to address them, or point you to appropriate counsel.
